According to the UN Deputy Secretary-General, speaking at the World Water Summit, conflict, climate change, and urbanization all pose threats to already-scarce water resources worldwide. Water management, improved sanitation, technology, and global partnerships are critical to holding off these threats and building on gains in recent years.
