A new report shows that more people in India have access to cell phones than to toilets: a fact which highlights the importance of education and implementation of sanitation projects. Basic sanitation is not only necessary, but practical. The report shows that it is a sound public health investment, showing an impressive $3 to $34 return on every $1spent: "an economic and humanitarian opportunity of historic proportions."
