On December 6, Tanzania simultaneously launched vaccines against the primary causes of two of the leading childhood killers in Tanzania and worldwide – pneumonia and diarrhea. The launch took place in tandem with the GAVI Alliance Partners Forum, at which global experts and country leaders explored approaches to accelerate lives saved through immunization.
