World Toilet Day brings potty-training to the library
I typically wouldn’t consider having to “go” a cause for celebration.
But having a place to “go”—whenever, wherever—now there’s a reason to rejoice. Last November, I was on hand as WaterAid and the King County Library system brought this message to local kids. Games, a toilet-seat-art exhibit, plus a visit from Super Toilet himself provided comic relief to a unique take on “potty-training.” The children learned about the importance of hygiene and the plight of their peers in poor countries who don’t have such easy access. Check out our photos from the event.
